CreditEnable's senior management has over 100 years of proven expertise in technology, credit, risk and the SME segment. They have built credit and risk analytics platforms for some of the world’s largest financial institutions, managed large international investment portfolios, taking SMEs from start-up to IPO, and invested heavily in SMEs across multiple geographies and sectors.


CEO and Co-Founder

Nadia has more than 20 years of emerging markets debt and equity investment experience. Through her career she has successfully executed and managed complex investments ranging in size from several million $USD to several billion involving a range of investors and financiers such as IFC, Citibank, ICICI, IDFC, ADB, the largest of which was the establishment of an USD 8 billion JV with Tata Power in India. Nadia has founded and built a number of successful businesses including Impact Investment Partners LLP. In 2018 Nadia was admitted into the Young Presidents Organisation, and in 2019 received a runners-up award at Techpreneurs Women in Tech Awards. Nadia holds a BSFS from Georgetown University and a MIA from Columbia University.


COO & Co-Founder

Varun has built and operated multiple successful companies over the past 20 years across emerging and developed markets ranging across financial services, healthcare and high technology firms. He is co-founder of Impact Investment Partners a UK based FCA regulated asset manager which operates across multiple markets and sectors. Prior to which he was head of Acumen India and has worked with Unilever, CARE and Oxfam to build up their SME portfolios. Varun is on a range of global advisory boards and fund investment committees focused on emerging markets and sustainable investing. He has been widely quoted in international media over the years and is a Chevening Scholar from the London School of Economics, a TED Fellow and an Asia Society Global Young Leader. Varun has an MA from Columbia University, and is also a Chevening Scholar.



Philip has 25 years experience in financial services. He has held senior IT and credit and risk management positions at several investment banks and asset management houses including: Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, Bankers Trust and DSP and Oldfield Partners. Phillip is also the co-creator of Crashmetrics, the only real-time VaR methodology to focus on events that wipe out major institutions. He has published various articles on risk management in academic journals and trade publications. He holds a PhD in applied mathematics from Imperial College and an MBA in Finance from Cass Business School.


Group CFO

Dynshaw has more than 20 years of experience working and developing fast growing consumer and technology brands. He was Group CFO of Lebara, the largest global MVNO with Revenues of over US$1bn and helped launch a number of digital products including Lebara Play, Lebara Talk (VOIP) and Lebara Remittance. He played a key role as Group CFO & COO in building the Cobra Beer Brand globally and making it a household name in the UK. Dynshaw continues to be a non-executive director of the Cobra Beer Partnership. He was also the 5th employee in e-bookers and as Group Finance Director took the company to the largest online travel agency with revenues of over $1bn. Prior to that Dynshaw worked for a number of years at KPMG.


Head of Data Insights & Predictive Analytics

Rolf was founder and CEO of the pH Group, now part of Experian, where he pioneered the use of extensive databases enabling a detailed drill down into SME behaviour. The pH systems have been used by all the UK’s major banks, many utilities and telco companies, and the UK government (similarly in France). Prior to this, Rolf was a strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. Rolf has also led the analytics effort (being deployed across credit models, propensity models, raising funds from institutional investors for lending to SMEs) with ESF/ThinCats, a leading SME peer-to-peer lending platform in the UK. He is also involved with CCAF (Centre for Alternative Finance at Cambridge University), where he acts as a research fellow on developments in SME finance.


Non Executive Director

Chris was Head of Europe & Chief Operating Officer, and Hong Kong-based Head of Strategic Initiatives for Janus Capital's International business across Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Chris also had a career in corporate finance, venture capital and family office where he made direct investments in businesses in a diverse range of industries across Asia. Chris led a number of start-ups and turnarounds in Hong Kong, China, and Southeast Asia in financial services, media, and education.


Chairman - India

Mr Abhijit Sen retired from Citi India in February 2015 after serving as the Chief Financial Officer - India Subcontinent for over 18 years. As Chief Financial Officer, India Subcontinent - Citi, he was responsible for the Finance function in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka for the entire Citi franchise including Controllership, Corporate Treasury, Financial Planning, Product Control and Tax. In addition to his CFO role, Mr Sen was Chairman of Citicorp Services India Limited which provides a variety of services in the analytics, financial modeling and planning, processing and technology space engaging over 3000 professionals serving a variety of Citi businesses overseas. He has also earlier overseen a variety of functions including Compliance & Control, Procurement, Premises Management and Utilities.


CEO - India

Akbar has over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, including CEO of Intellegrow, a specialty SME lender, Managing Director and Head of Corporate Development (M&A) for General Electric and held leadership positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in India and in Europe. Akbar holds a BA (First Class) in Economics from the Mumbai University and an MBA from the London Business School. He a Chartered Accountant, having qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).



Derek’s career includes 25 years at Citi, with his most recent role as Managing Director and Global Head of Technology for Treasury and Trade Solutions, ICT and O&T. He has built up a wealth of global, regional and local experience in driving successful delivery of transformation programmes using technology. He has a passion for using emerging technologies and innovation to improve product delivery, client experience and automation whilst reducing complexity, technical debt and eliminating legacy platforms.



Mr. Hussain served on several Tata company Boards including Tata Steel Ltd., Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. and Titan Industries Ltd. Chairman of Voltas Ltd., founding Chairman of Tata Sky Ltd, founding Director of Tata AIA Life Insurance Co. Ltd. and Tata AIG General Insurance Co. Ltd., board member of Trade, Government of India and was Chairman of the SCODA Committee of SEBI. Currently sits on the advisory boards of Bain & Company, Murugappa Group, and Army Group Insurance Fund. On the board for SBI Foundation, National Investment & Infrastructure Fund, Indian Council on Global Relations, Aga Khan Foundation India, Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India), and the Indian Public Schools Society, and part of The Marg Foundation.
